Overview of John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida

Steel Girders with Polyurea Protective Coating Applied
Our polyurea coating was selected to protect steel girders from corrosion for the John Young Parkway in Orlando, Florida. Zinc dust was added to the polyurea coating to ensure optimum corrosion resistance.
Our coatings prolong the service life of infrastructure and provide an excellent barrier from aggressive chemicals and acids. Our polyurea is a tough, low maintenance coating, designed to provide superior long-term performance under rigorous service conditions. It is UV stable (colorfast), suitable for interior and exterior applications and provides anti-graffiti protection.
Our coatings can either be applied with spray equipment or with a roller. Aggregate may be broadcast into the coatings to provide a textured, non-slip surface for an extra measure of safety.
Ecolink’s coatings contain no VOC’s and are no/low odor. They meet USDA/FDA/CFIA requirements for incidental food contact and for use in regulated food facilities.
All Ecolink products are Green Building Materials and qualify for LEED credits.
